The women’s rights movement and Spiritualism date their inception to 1848 in upstate New York. Trance or ‘inspired’ speaking empowered a generation of American women to claim their own voices. These two movements sparked a revolutionary Free Thinkers movement for the abolition of Slavery, reform of marriage, children’s rights, religious freedom, labor reform, vegetarianism, dress reform, health reform, and temperance.
In this workshop —you’ll also learn about The Institute for Spiritual Development (ISD) modern ceremonial leadership and modern ministry program; beginning May 21st and 28th, 5:30 - 7:00 pm. At ISD Lotus Center or on Zoom. The Institute for Spiritual Development (ISD) co-hosts The Shift Fair. We offer classes and practice ‘Circles’, on an ongoing basis in: Intuitive Development, Mediumship, and Spiritual Healing.

Introduction to Tantric Meditation and the Art and Science of Mantra: Tapash will describe centers in the Brain and corresponding States of Mind and Existence; The Creation Process and How we take Birth; Learn 3 Powerful Mantras to Develop your Force of Will and Character to overcome the Anxieties of these Times; How to Leave the Body upon Death and Avoid Distraction; The Science of Sound and the Basis of Mantras; How to attain higher States of Mind and Why We Chant Vedic Mantra and Hymns, with examples.
Tapash (John Bee) is trained in Indian Astrology and Tantric Yoga in the Ananda Math Tradition. This tradition has both female and male Yogis, honoring both the feminine and masculine aspects of God / the Divine.
Our dance Troupe started in 2017 with only 5 dancers and now we have 38+ members. We are inspired by The Original Wolfshager Hexenbrut dancers from Germany. Our mission is to bring Happiness and Joy through the Magic of Dance in Central New York.
As each attendee enters the room they will be asked to choose an andara crystal or two they are drawn to.
When all are settled, andara shepherd, Christy Stevens will then give a brief history and attributes of these high frequency, glass-like monotomic solid representatives of ancient andarian culture.
Attendees will then be guided in to a meditation with crystals they have chosen. We will travel to an andara temple and meet master andaras.
We will close with a short question and answer time.
Christy Stevens has a life long fascination with nature and her inhabitants. Including stones, shells, plants, and animals. She practices and teaches several Reiki modalities, a Grace Blessing facilitator, an aromatherapist, and sound healer.
