My name is Andrew Feldman and I create unique and one of a kind pieces of macrame jewelry using waxed polyester cord with semi precious stones and beads. Macrame is the art of tying knots in different patterns to create all kinds of things. I make a lot of necklaces and bracelets, but also create plant hangars, wall hangings, rings, and earrings. Everything is all handmade, though I don't do any of the lapidary work, I buy cabochons and beads already made. The cord I use is also prefabricated. Tools I use for my creations are a clipboard, a very small crochet hook and a lighter. I don't use any glue in my art, I melt the ends of the cord to seal the knots and ensure everything will stay in place. The cord is extremely durable, and very water resistant. All of the jewelry that I make is adjustable so you can wear the necklaces at different lengths and the bracelets are one size fits most.
